How do I know if I need a Home Care Package, NDIS, or private support?
It depends on your age, situation and existing supports. Home Care Packages are typically for older Australians accessing aged care funding, NDIS is for eligible people with disability, and private arrangements suit anyone who wants support without going through a funding body. If you're not sure, tell us your situation during a consultation and we'll help you figure out what fits — there's no wrong door.
What areas do you service?
We're based in Cranbourne East and service Cranbourne and the surrounding South-East Melbourne suburbs. If you're unsure whether your address is covered, just ask when you get in touch — we'll let you know straight away.
Are your carers police-checked and insured?
Yes. Every carer is police-checked, trained, and insured before their first visit. We take the time to match carers to clients based on needs and personality, not just availability.
Will I have the same carer each visit?
Wherever possible, yes. We believe consistency builds trust, so we aim to match you with a small, familiar team rather than a rotating roster of different faces.
How quickly can support start?
After your initial consultation and care plan meeting, support can typically begin within a week, sometimes sooner depending on availability and urgency. We'll always be upfront about realistic timing.
What if my needs change over time?
Care plans are never locked in stone. As routines, health or circumstances change, your coordinator will adjust your plan and carer schedule to match — just let us know.
Do you offer support outside business hours?
We operate Monday to Sunday, 7am–7pm, with after-hours arrangements available on request depending on your needs. Talk to your coordinator about scheduling that works for your household.
How much does support cost?
Costs depend on the services, funding source (Home Care Package, NDIS or private) and hours involved. We keep pricing transparent and will walk you through exact costs during your consultation — no hidden fees.
Can I cancel or reschedule a visit?
Yes, we understand plans change. Just give your coordinator as much notice as you can so we can adjust the schedule — we'll talk through our cancellation approach when your care plan is set up.
